I want to make one thing clear. The horrific battle that @HeartOfOrion is going through- the treatment route that he takes...or the decision to NOT seek treatment, is his and his alone. Of course we all want him to get better. I damn sure do because he's my real life twin brother and my lifelong best friend. It's human to want to guide his decision when you care about him. You can still do that, but every one of you (including myself) has to respect his decisions when they're made. To say I'm crushed by all of this is an understatement...on top of our ailing mother with her cancer diagnosis. Count your blessings. Cherish every day. Prioritize what matters.

For those that don't know, this is my real-life twin brother. A LOT are praying and that's great, but I'M here to ask for another favor. He has to be able to pay for treatment as well. If thousands or millions of people can send money to a punk who harasses people, a druggie who killed himself, a plethora of other ignorant individuals and organizations, how about....FOR ONCE we help someone who has done nothing but be good to everyone he ever interacted with!

He's disabled, taking care of our elderly mother unselfishly and making an exhaustive effort to be good to people every damn day. Of course prayers are good, but PLEASE help him!!

It's one thing to say you want to help, it's another to DO IT! I'm calling on everyone to share this, especially if you have a huge account with reach. If you think I'm posting this for ME to go viral, then there's no hope for you.

Well, I finally went to the ER today.

I've lost over 30 pounds, I can barely eat any solid food anymore, I get reflux and heartburn every single time I lay down, my back and ribs are absolutely killing me every time I lay down, and for several more hours after I get outta bed.

Turns out I was right - my cancer is indeed back, and worse than ever.

It's now taking up most of my esophagus, looks like it's spread to the bone, and quite possibly my liver as well.

To say I'm devastated, would be a major understatement. I've been crying my eyes out for hours now.

Gonna take some pain meds, try to cool off, and see if I can't get an hour or so of sleep while I'm at it.
