This mass funeral was held for 112 members of the Al-Hasayna and Abu Sharia families in Gaza City, killed in an Israeli strike on 23 November 2023. That strike reportedly killed over 300 Palestinians.
This is a chilling illustration of a pattern of Israeli attacks wiping out entire multi-generational families. It has taken so long for rescue teams to dig up the remains due to restrictions imposed by Israel on the entry of equipment required to remove the rubble of destroyed buildings, under which thousands of bodies remain trapped.
Israeli authorities must urgently allow UN bodies and human rights investigators to access Gaza to preserve evidence, as ordered by the International Court of Justice.
The sons of the imprisoned former leader of Pakistan Imran Khan told CNN they fear for their father's health, claiming authorities in the South Asian country are preventing them from seeing him.
Pakistan's government said it "categorically rejects" the claim that Khan has faced a communication blackout or been denied access to his family, lawyers and doctors. Read more: https://t.co/FZSRdjTfaC
Thousands of Palestinians in Gaza City held a mass funeral today for the recovered remains of 112 members of the extended Al-Hassayna and Abu Sharia families, buried together after nearly three years under rubble.
The deaths trace to Israeli airstrikes in November 2023 on residential buildings in Gaza City's Sabra neighbourhood, where the Bedouin clan had sheltered early in the war.
Palestinian authorities say around 308 clan members were killed.
Roughly 157 still missing at the site.
PAKISTAN: Ahead of the third anniversary of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ongoing detention, Isabelle Lassee, Amnesty International’s Acting Regional Director for South Asia, said:
“For three years, Pakistan’s authorities have systematically denied Imran Khan the right to a fair trial, subjected him to prolonged solitary confinement, and limited his access to medical care and visitation rights. He has not been allowed to meet his family for more than eight months and his vision has reportedly deteriorated significantly. Both he and his wife, Bushra Bibi Khan, have now been denied regular access to legal counsel since December 2025."

🚨🇮🇪 BREAKING: Irish legend Paddy McCorry ALMOST KILLED Shuki Farage (former IDF soldier)
Then he raised the Palestinian flag, and
repeatedly shouted “Free Palestine” 🇵🇸
This guy is an absolute legend.
💢 A breakdown of how the incident in Tel, Nablus unfolded:
The Palestinian man, Farouk Ramadan, initially appears to be trying to protect another Palestinian (likely his brother) when an armed settler hits him in the head with a rifle. (Image 2)
As he moves away, he is kicked or struck from behind. Still, he retreats again. (3)
Israeli settlers or the surrounding soldiers (under whose protection the incursion appears to be taking place), then fire live shots. The sounds of gunshots can be heard clearly in the video. (3)
An armed Israeli settler then charges directly at Ramadan and a fellow Palestinian with a gun raised and pointed at their chest, closing distance between them, as gunshots are heard in the background.
Ramadan disarms him, takes the rifle, and aims at the settler, and purportedly shoots him dead. (1)
On the sequence visible in the footage, it is clear he is acting in self-defense against an imminent armed threat than the “terrorist attack” senior Israeli officials are calling it and using to justify pogroms in Palestinian villages.
Five Palestinians were ultimately killed in the broader settler and Israeli military forces attack in this incident. Dozens more have been wounded and property damaged since.
