@benedictevans@RaymondDurk@alxcnwy Moving from a web3 to web2 service would require taking your data on arweave and formatting it for substack or mailchimp which is a little different than exporting.
Eventually we'll have a standard for this which will make "exporting" and "importing" posts archaic
@benedictevans@RaymondDurk@alxcnwy Tokenized subscriptions allow writers price discovery and other tools they can use in their community like exclusive group chats now and a suite of other tools in the future.
@benedictevans@RaymondDurk@alxcnwy It gives writers more control.
They no longer have to export their posts when they want to transition to a new site. Instead they can just use arweave as their backend.

A newsletter author I know with ~1.5k free subs is making ~$40K / year from a crypto token he minted (for his newsletter).
wtf are we doing messing with ads and paid subscriptions
Have been working with @sam__hatem and team to host my newsletter on a web3 version of Substack called @OutpostProtocol.
Really excited to make Outpost my new home for my newsletter, where I can own my own words and have price discovery for my content.
