The CDC gave up on 'mitigation' measures because they 'failed'. What failed was the CDC promoting COVID-19 vaccines would stop transmission. People saw through the lies and ignore the CDC now. Then the CDC aligns there policy to how people behave (ignoring the CDC). lol
