@MUFCScoop It’s a 5 for the midfield rebuild, but other positions sorely lacking.
Barca not taking Rashford, Zirkzee staying, Ugarte getting injured all complicated matters, but not getting an LB is criminal.
Understand you can’t do it all in 1 window, but it’s a missed opportunity.
@himanshu0370@AdamCrafton_ United owe 450m in back fees for transfers this summer.
There is definitely money there, and we needed more signings but it’s a balance between being fiscally responsible and ambitious. Sadly old Jim is only looking at the numbers and saying “he got UCL with a worse squad”.
MW4 feels good if you’re a normal human. If you’re a sweaty slide cancelling, bunny hopping goblin it feels awful.
There’s a message in there about who buys the games and who simply plays it to profit for themselves
Awful performance yesterday, but we’ve started seasons well and fallen away badly. Let’s hope this shakes away the cobwebs. That Milan game seems to have knocked the confidence and it’s clear we need a few players.
@classofzidane Agreed and acknowledged.
I was speaking if we focused on league position which I think we will, but we’re short for sure.
I want to see a few more players come in.
I don’t get this narrative that United will be 4th or lower this season.
Pep effect unknown, Iraola/ Alonso untested in broken teams, De Zerbi rebuilding a team that was 17th, Newcastle/Villa missing/sold big players and we’ve improved. If the season started today I’d back 2nd.
@classofzidane No not at all,
My second post covered that.
I’m talking about the league only- overall were short for sure. I’m just not convinced any of our rivals that finished below us last season are actually better than us now.
