The idea that one politician, whether it’s Donald Trump, Barack Obama, or anyone else, could rob you of pride in a nation that fought through revolution, civil war, depression, world wars, civil rights battles, scientific breakthroughs, and its own painful failures is historical illiteracy and weakness.

I never voted for Obama. I was told by the Democrats, as a multiracial woman, that I was “supposed to.” I didn’t. But I never let one man shrink my love of country, my respect for its history, or my participation in the moments that belong to all Americans.

America is SO MUCH BIGGER than your favorite politician, and SO MUCH BIGGER than the one you hate.

When you let one person steal your pride in 250 years of history, you are not resisting. Just performative. You’re helping make this country seem smaller, weaker, and easier to divide.

Stop it. Be proud of your country. Celebrate it.

Today, our nation mourns the loss of eight American airmen who were killed in the crash of a B-52 Stratofortress during a routine mission at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

These brave service members answered the call to serve, dedicating their lives to something greater than themselves.

Their sacrifice, service, and legacy will never be forgotten.

Emily and I join the nation in mourning and are praying for the families, friends, and fellow service members who are grieving this unimaginable loss.

We are also grateful to the first responders and emergency personnel who responded with courage in the aftermath of this tragedy.

May God comfort the families of the fallen, and may He forever bless the memory of these eight American heroes.

You’re proving my point. The original claim was that Israel is some uniquely dangerous force inside the United States.

Now you’ve shifted to the Levon Affair, Hamas funding, and failures surrounding October 7. Those are criticisms of decisions made by Israeli governments. They don’t prove Israel secretly controls America.

And for the record, I have no problem criticizing any government, even Israel. The policy of allowing Qatari money into Gaza was a catastrophic mistake. The intelligence and security failures surrounding October 7 were catastrophic failures. But criticizing a government’s mistakes is not the same thing as proving a conspiracy theory.

You keep moving from “the Israeli government made bad decisions” to “Israel secretly runs America” without ever providing the evidence for the second claim.

Yes, Black Republicans can technically join. Nobody disputes that.

The question is why the CBC has remained almost entirely Democratic for decades and why Black conservatives have repeatedly described it as politically exclusionary. That’s the actual issue I’m interested in discussing.

When someone has to pile together a half-century of unrelated accusations, it’s usually because none of them are sufficient on their own. 😭

And if your standard is that a foreign country lobbies, influences media narratives, conducts espionage, shares bad intelligence, or pursues its own interests, then we’d have to include China, Russia, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and plenty of others.

Yet somehow only one country gets elevated into a uniquely sinister force secretly controlling America from within. You can criticize Israeli policies all day long. Plenty of Israelis do.

No, I’m distinguishing between formal eligibility and practical reality.

A country club can say anyone is welcome, right? If one group consistently reports being excluded and virtually nobody from that group participates, it’s reasonable to question how inclusive it actually is.

The CBC may technically be open to Black Republicans. The more interesting question is why it has remained almost exclusively Democratic for decades and why multiple Black Republicans have said they were shut out.
