Brandon Stirrup, who says he has spent more than 10 years at Xbox and Microsoft, is calling out the gaming industry for pretending it isn’t using AI.

“If I’m Fired Tomorrow It Will Be Because I Told You The Truth That Nobody Wants You To Know”

He says gaming is “the only industry pretending to not use AI” and that developers need to accept AI as part of the future.

He also claims that games can already be created with simple prompts, including custom games tailored to what players want.

Stirrup says he’s willing to take the backlash for speaking openly about it, even saying he could be fired for telling people what “nobody wants you to know.”

“We use AI, just as all companies do in 2026.”

@TheRealOnionKid Chrono Sonic name/idea date back to 2013ish. What you are seeing is actually the Chrono/Super Hybrid which is why he looks a little more bronze because its mix of both Chrono Sonic and Super Sonic's shaders.

🚨 BREAKING: Sonic’s future is already looking packed beyond 2028.

A new Sonic 35th anniversary roadmap says there are “more movies, more games, more adventures” planned beyond Sonic the Hedgehog 4 in 2027 and another theatrical Sonic project in 2028.

The roadmap also highlights the current Fortnite collaboration as part of Sonic’s next chapter, with the message: “The next 35 years start here.”
