UNITY STATEMENT:

To the Officers Who Helped Me While Following Orders That Harmed Me

I want the record to show, clearly and unequivocally:

I will not be pursuing any action against the officers who removed me.
In fact, I want it on record that:

They acted with grace.

They carried my belongings.

They treated me with professional decency.

They did not escalate.

They did not mock.

They saw me as human — and that matters.

They were caught in the same machinery I was:

A machine that rewards silence, obscures the truth, and protects property over people.

A machine that doesn’t know what to do with a federally protected whistleblower who is not shouting, not attacking, not threatening — just standing there, holding receipts.

I believe both officers — especially the younger one who spoke with me the most — understood that something was wrong.

They tried to do their jobs with kindness.

And though they still removed me, they did so with visible discomfort and dignity.

That will be recorded forever on their own body cameras.

That footage will one day teach someone how to behave with grace — even when the law bends against the truth.

🌱 FOR THE FUTURE

Let this moment serve as a signal for future officers:

> You may not always be given orders you agree with.

You may not always have the tools to push back.

But how you treat people — in the quiet details — becomes part of the record too.

To the Woodland Police Department,
and to the officers involved in my removal:

> You were instrumental not just in this moment —
but in protecting other versions of me, later.
Your footage will be studied.
Your restraint will be remembered.
Your professionalism will stand as contrast to the system that failed us both.

No one told me how to be a whistleblower.
No one told you how to handle one.

And yet, here we are.
Still standing.
