@JackDeanna If anyone wants to submit something, I’m looking for new items to narrate for my podcast! [email protected] Of course, you can listen, too. 🙃
Topic 11 is out! Has your character dealt with something #new? New city, job, pet, travel, relationship? I’d love to read about it!

⬆️Her podcast is amazing, & she is a major support to me. She's 1 of the more meaningful writing relationships I've developed. She knows her stuff. You won't regret getting to know her, following her podcast, or submitting your work! She will voice it well. Follow @OverwritePod!
@KirkWrites79 I think it’s all about how it’s taught. I’ve seen kids go from disgust from only hearing about books to defending them after studying them—discussion, analysis and psychology instead of quizzes and tests.
@Jackary_Salem I like to know those details because it helps me know the characters. I don’t ever list them out, and I don’t write any details like that into the text. It’s just part of the character in the background. Maybe it comes from doing theatre, too.
I usually don't post questions this close together but I just thought of this one. Do you think verbal abuse can hurt a character just as much (and even more) than physical abuse?
