1️⃣According to @NIA_India & @manipur_police, On 1/11/23, Large no. of AT led by Koroungaba armed with sophisticated weapons in Manipur Police uniforms attacked 1st MR with intention to kill Central Forces & looted large cache of weapons. When stopped, they fired at Police & escaped.

2️⃣Later that day, Korounganba led another attack on 1st MR & looted weapons from the battalion.

3️⃣July 2023,cadres of AT, led by Koroungaba ambushed IGP of Manipur Police & his convoy, leaving personnels injured.

4️⃣1/10/24, AT led by Koroungaba stormed the residence of Amarjit singh,a civilian & held the entire family hostage at Gunpoint & threatened to kill them if they informed the Police. They drove away with the family's SUV.

5️⃣27/02/24, 200 cadres of AT led by Koroungaba attempted to kill & abducted I-W Addl. SP from his residence.
According to the FIR, "AT led by Korounganba, Robin & Kanan, members of unlawful org attempted to kill Addl.SP (OPs)/IW Amit by firing toward his vehicle & residence. They also abducted him by attacking his escort team & snatched away some weapons of his escort team along with his vehicle."

6️⃣4/1/2025, A muslim youth was abducted by AT. The victim accused Korounganba of brutally assaulting him by hammering a Nail into his hand & forcing him to eat pork which is against his religious beliefs.

7️⃣AT led by Koroungaba in 10 vehicles stormed the residence of Wangkhemcha wangthoi, armed to the teeth with Rocket Launchers (gifted by MP Sanajaoba), M16s & AK 47s & held his wife & 5-6 year old daughters hostage at gun point.

8️⃣The Kangla Coup d'état:
More than 3 MLAs, including state BJP president were "beaten up", "abused" & "forced" to take an oath by Korounganba & AT on Jan 24.
Eyewitnesses accounts:
"They (AT) berated & taunted the security forces..they punched uripok MLA in the face & dragged him inside forcibly, holding a gun to his head. They smacked wangjing MLA in the back of his head. They threatened to shoot & kill the DIG & SP if they step foot inside Kangla.
They then brought out the list of 5-6 MLAs who had spoken out against the CM & thrashed them one by one.
They thrashed wangjing MLA for speaking out in favour of Christianity & against the CM. korounganba & his goons brutally assaulted wangkhem MLA . If the 2 women MLAs had not stepped in, the situation would have been really bad for the MLA. Koroungaba threatened to kill the 2 women MLAs after. Seeing the state @BJPManipur president being thrashed mercilessly, @MaharajaManipur bowed down to korounganba thrice, begging him to stop the assault."

🚨Sanajaoba & the ousted Manipur CM not only provided AT with political legitimacy, immunity & a steady supply of Terrorists grade weapons like RPGs since their inception but many of the key events such as the felicitation & oath takings into AT were not clandestine gatherings in the shadows, but were conducted openly & with impunity at the residence of Sanajaoba.
They not only turned a blind eye to their atrocities,but actively facilitated their campaigns of violence.

SAME UNIFORM BUT DIFFERENT TREATMENT: Lieutenant General Pradeep Chandran Nair was right.

1. SDPO Chongtham Anandkumar Singh was accused of rape at gunpoint when he was posted in Mayang Imphal. Khumukcham Manimacha Devi, the mother of Khumukcham Shyamasakhi Devi — who drank sulphuric acid and died after the alleged rape — made that statement in her official complaint. (April 2, 2010, sources: _The Sangai Express_ / _The Telegraph_)

After his death in Moreh, his case was given priority by the Manipur state government and transferred to the NIA. His family subsequently received ₹50 lakh as compensation. He was even promoted to SDPO despite the rape allegations against him, rather than facing action.

2. Sub-Inspector Onkhomang Haokip had no bad record in his service book. He was posted under Moirang Police Station. He was brutally killed while on duty near the Chingphei outpost. The Manipur government declared him a martyr, stating he was killed by a sniper with a headshot. This was likely done by Arambai Tenggol or UNLF/PLA, who are allegedly Chinese-trained secessionist narco-terrorist groups skilled in sniping. His family received ₹10 lakh as compensation — ₹40 lakh less than Chongtham Anandkumar Singh — whereas almost every civilian from the Meitei community who died during that time was also given ₹10 lakh as compensation.

The saddest part is that Sub-Inspector Onkhomang Haokip’s case is nowhere to be seen. There has been no @NIA_India activity nor visible state government action, while his killers are still treated as heroes within parts of Meitei society.

Lieutenant General Pradeep Chandran Nair, who once said, “There was no Manipur Police,” was exactly right.

This has also proved that living together under the same administration with the Meitei community is next to impossible.

This footage reminds me of a comment from a gentleman and a wise man from Wellington who served as Director General of the Assam Rifles during 2023.

Lieutenant General Pradeep Chandran Nair (Lt. Gen PC Nair) rightly said on September 9, 2024, on the News9 channel that "There was no Manipur Police @manipur_police functioning in the year 2023." Today, almost 3 years later, Manipur Police personnel were caught on camera chanting another provocative statement that any uniformed serviceman could have avoided: "We will wipe out the Kuki-Zo community from the hills."

Will there be any legal action against these Manipur Police @manipur_police personnel? I really don't think so. Because the hatred between the two communities runs so deep in the veins. Lieutenant General Pradeep Chandran Nair got nothing but an FIR for telling the truth under Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh and the secessionist narco-terrorists and their mouthpiece regime.

The Origin of Meitei and Tangkhul (Kacha Naga)

When we look at origins, I see the Meiteis as having come from Thailand. They were forced to leave, then moved to Burma, and were again displaced before finally arriving in Manipur. The Meitei and Thai communities share many similar cultural practices and traditions. This connection is often highlighted through official exchanges. Thailand’s Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Imphal in 2018, where she witnessed the Sangai Festival and toured historical sites such as Kangla Fort, Loktak Lake, and Keibul Lamjao National Park.

Cultural exchange between Thailand and the Meitei community in Manipur is a growing area characterized by shared historical, artistic, and culinary ties. These links are frequently celebrated through official visits and cultural performances, which reinforce the sense of a common heritage between the two communities.

The Tangkhul community, also known as Kacha Nagas, trace their roots to Yunnan Province in China. They followed a similar path of displacement through Burma before reaching Manipur. Even today, Tangkhuls from the Somra region in Burma attempt to enter Manipur. These movements matter because they shape how each group sees its place in the state.

The involvement of Chinese influence on the NSCN-IM and the Indian Government’s political talks is evident in recent history. Tangkhul Naga leader Thuingaleng Muivah was sent to China in 1967 in a high-profile diplomatic role with plenipotentiary power. With his credentials well acknowledged by China, he was sent again in 1974. There have also been reports of NSCN-IM militants being trained by the Chinese army, the PLA, and supplied with arms and uniforms. Tangkhul scholars like Dr. Nelson Vashum and Kharingyo Shimrah have stated that Tangkhuls originated from Yunnan Province in China and migrated to Manipur in the 13th century, along with other Kacha Naga tribes.

History, identity, culture, and origin have proved that Meitei and Tangkhul (Kacha Naga) are the real refugees or illegal immigrants of Manipur state. Their migration routes through Thailand and Burma, and through Yunnan and Burma, show a pattern of displacement and resettlement that came much later than the indigenous inhabitants of the land. The continued cultural alignment of Meiteis with Thailand and the documented ties of Tangkhul leaders with China further confirm external roots. Given these facts, India should be very careful about this issue, because recognizing who is native and who arrived as a migrant is central to resolving land disputes, political representation, and the future stability of Manipur.
