Once you shift your mindset to Life happening for you not to you
You will start living life without regrets and understand life is continuous trade offs
I asked my mentor:
“ How do I reach a caliber where women desires me and men admirers me? ”
He replied:
- Be Decisive
- Have Discipline
- Limit Your Availability
- Choose the Right Sacrifices
- Take Control of Your Mornings
I again asked “ How?”
He replied:
Being smart might open the door, but it’s grit that keeps you in the room. You’ve gotta be able to take hit after hit, feel like everything’s falling apart, and still show up. Not just surviving but smiling through it. That’s what builds something that lasts.
At your funeral, friends and family will argue over who gets your belongings.
People will talk about the food and the venue.
Your life will be summarized in 2-3 paragraphs.
Conversations will shift from your life to their lives.
Your friends will drive away thinking about what’s next on their to-do list.
Some people won't be able to make it because "something came up."
And most of the people you know today won’t even be there.
You’re gonna die.
People will move on (in weeks not years).
Do what you want.
The future belongs to delusional optimists
Those who believe they can bend reality with relentless action and execution
Cynics may sometimes get to be right , but the optimists will eventually get to Win
I'm huge believer in obsession
If you wanna be exceptional at something you have to be obsessed
There's just a huge gap between being great at a skill and being exceptional at a skill
And the most obsessed one ends up in the top percentile of that skill
If pain is a prerequisite for reality then the pain you feel doing things you don't want is just a signal that you are alive and all your complaints are just irrelevant
Just do it
