@elrufai Great South-south delegates represented at @DigiSummit25_ Congratulations @DOlusegun you have sent a strong message, and we are fully behind you
Yesterday, I inspected critical failed road sections across Edo Central.
We visited the Onewa-Udomi-Ibhiolulu-Afada-Idumoza-Eko-Uwaya-Ewora roads, Illushin Road, and New Agbor Road, all in Uromi, Esan North East LGA.
These roads have been in terrible condition for years, inherited from the past administration. But I am not here to complain. I am here to work.
With the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, we are already taking steps to begin urgent palliative works.
These roads are lifelines for our people, they connect communities, drive the economy, and ensure safety.
Under my watch, we will not leave Edo the way we met it. We are fixing what was neglected.
A New Edo Has Risen.

Security is the foundation of progress, and Practical Governance means ensuring our security forces have the tools they need to protect lives and property.
Today, as part of our 100 Days of Achievements, I procured and launched brand-new Toyota Hilux patrol vehicles for various security agencies in Edo State. Mobility is critical in the fight against crime, and these vehicles will enhance rapid response, strengthen patrol operations, and boost security presence across the state.
Security is not just a priority—it is a necessity for growth, development, and prosperity.. Our administration remains committed to making Edo safer for businesses, residents and investors.
Together, we are building an Edo where safety is guaranteed, opportunities thrive and Practical Governance delivers real impact.
A New Edo Has Risen!

Today, I had the privilege of joining His Excellency, the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, and esteemed colleagues to celebrate the One year anniversary of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership in Kogi State.
This occasion provided an opportunity to commend Governor Ododo for his remarkable strides in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and delivering impactful governance to the people of Kogi State.
As a neighboring state, Edo celebrates these achievements and remains committed to fostering collaboration and sharing innovative ideas that will bring tangible progress and development to our people.
Congratulations to Governor ODodo and the people of Kogi State.

Today, I officially decorated the Managing Director of the Edo State Traffic Management Agency (EDSTMA) Engr. Stainless Ijegede. This is to reaffirm our administration's commitment to efficient traffic management and road safety in Edo State.
I also used the medium to charge all EDSTMA staff to diligently fulfill their roles, which include ensuring road safety, reducing congestion, educating the public on traffic regulations and enforcing compliance with fairness and professionalism. Together, we are building safer roads and a more organized transportation system for the benefit of all Edo citizens.

Today, I had the privilege of addressing the passing-out parade of our newly trained police personnel in Edo State.
I charged them to approach their duties with integrity, fairness and professionalism. As trained personnel who know our land, people and culture, they are uniquely positioned to build trust within our communities and ensure the safety of lives and property.
I emphasized the importance of rejecting corruption, fostering strong relationships with the public and upholding the values of honesty and respect in their service.
The Edo State Government remains committed to supporting them with the tools and resources needed to excel in their duties.
Together, we will make Edo State safer and more secure. Congratulations to our new officers as they embark on this noble journey of service.
Today, I inspected several ongoing road construction projects across Edo State, including:
Ekenwan Barrack Road
Temboga Road (Phase 2)
Utteh Road
Obadan Junction Road
Ramat Park Flyover
The progress recorded so far is truly encouraging and a testament to our commitment to delivering quality infrastructure that transforms lives and drives development.
These projects are not just roads; they represent the pathway to a new Edo—one marked by growth, connectivity and opportunities for all.
Together, we are building a State that works for everyone. Let us stay focused and committed to this shared vision.
