Father to 4 awesome kids/Husband to the most beautiful wife in the world, Danielle/Independent Pharmacy Owner/Pharmacist/ On a mission to eliminate PBM ABUSE!
@falk_dave@jimcramer@A_Ciaccia@Commpharmacy@mcuban@NACDS@jimcramer the facts are out. @uhc has 60% of their revenue from their PBM accounting for over $223 billion. They aren’t making that @$2/script. Look up rebates, spread pricing, patient steering, and audit abuse for starters. Can’t spread this BS anymore.
@jimcramer Shouldn’t you do research and hold your guests in check to spout facts that are at least reasonably close to the truth. Joe Rogan does. Why would you allow someone to say PBM’s make $2 per script when it’s actually 10 fold that? #FactCheckBullshit
@RepLaHood has shown that he values taking PBM money and supporting monopolistic practices, over ensuring a level playing field for independent pharmacies. This is who you don’t want representing people of Illinois!
19,000 independent pharmacies in the US. Avg traffic count/ day= 300 patients. imagine if indy pharmacies shared with those 300 people/ day which Legislators supported pharmacy, and those that don't. That's 5,700,000 patients PER DAY.
its time to do the right thing.

Once again, as a vocal supporter of independent pharmacies in IL, @ILComptroller@susanamendoza10 , true to her word, processed Critical Access Pharmacy payments immediately upon arrival to her office. Independent pharmacy owners in IL are thankful for u!
Thank you @StateRepManley for your consistent & probing questions to help expose PBM many dirty practices. Patients, employers & plan sponsors are paying more, and local pharmacies are closing. PBM reform needs to happen now! @falk_dave@TruthRX@ILPharmacists
PBMs have an undue influence on our state’s health care systems - they can drive up costs and reduce access. I’m glad to see our legislators keep the pressure on these middlemen and fight for equity. It’s time to take them to task.

Great work by IL House of Representative Health Care Availability & Access Committee led by @StateRepManley. PBMs drive up cost of healthcare for individuals + employers, squash competition, reduce access, and are bad for small business. It has to change. https://t.co/gRvdI9fFnJ
I don't care what PBM / insurance it is, no pharmacy should be paid under $10 profit for any drug that's at least a 30 days supply. Pay us for our labor. Paying me 15 cents for Meloxicam and 5 cents for amlodipine is bullcrap.
True to her word, @ILComptroller releases CAP pharmacy payments immediately to pharmacies in IL. Rural pharmacies provide an invaluable service to the healthcare community. @susanamendoza10 understands what we do for the communities we serve. Thank you!
Thanks to @linakhanFTC and her fellow commissioners for the chance to support PBM reform today by asking @FTC to reconsider prior advocacy statements and studies. Great to hear from @BoesingLoretta, @MoniqueWhitney and so many other advocates as well.
@hogsslaughtered@CVSHealth I have actual labels from same claims ran same day for same person same drug at CVS and our independent. They amount paid to CVS is way more and on many scripts, the patient also paid more
@hogsslaughtered@CVSHealth So do I! Blatant proof this is a lie. It’s semantics. Like when they said they give 99% of rebates back to end payers. They are giving back 99% of rebates after self owed rebate accumulator keeps 25%. They also keep 100% of other $$ from manufacturer like market guarantee
The whole COVID sham was rigged from the start. Anything that worked, they made inaccessible so they could have emergency use and keep raking $$$$$. Hospital protocol absolutely was deadly! How did people not see this????
.@RobertKennedyJr: "Tony Fauci Knew That Remdesivir Would Kill You"
"How does it kill you?" he asked. "Kidney failure, heart failure, and all-organ collapse."
"All the doctors said. You heard it again and again. 'We've never seen a virus that attacks the kidneys.' Because it wasn't the virus; it was the remdesivir."
@RfactsFacts@UrPharmAdvocate @linakhanFTC @RonWyden@ChuckGrassley MAC is also not consistent. It is a fill in the blank that allows our competitors to pick winners and losers. Who do you think they pick as the losers? How is this legal???
Florida lawmaker telling PBMs they are lucky the public isn't coming after them with pitchfork and telling them they are probably going to burn in hell for stealing from the sick. Awesome
#TwitteRx
@ChuckGrassley Thank you! This is a great first step to harness the greed of these PBM’s ! Next step would be to eliminate rebates (kickbacks) on all levels and make drug companies compete on effectiveness vs cost instead of who can bribe the best! @pcmanet
