@midaeros At 4.5 why is the kid not already at school? In the UK we start primary school at 4 (you can do nursery/preschool earlier but that's optional).
@CaraLisette@squillink93 That is way I hate per portion pricing! You're not buying 1 of a thing or a scoop of another thing, you're buying a whole packet ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐ฎโ๐จ
@freerangemegz I'm redecorating my bedroom so I've been getting excited over things like a new lamp and matching lamp and light shades, next payday will be new nets for the window, they have stars on ๐คฉ
@xoeeie The one who threw the car seat has potentially now damaged it's effectiveness at protecting their child in a real accident. It's the same as with helmets, even if it doesn't look damaged you replace it because the structural integrity could be compromised.
Fuck UPS. I rearranged delivery for a day I wasn't working so I could guarantee being home. I have been home all day, the buzzer is on. I just checked by chance and now I've got to collect the parcel that they couldn't be bothered to deliver ๐ก๐ก๐ก
@PolitlcsUK Mine glitched and sent a second through in Welsh and then I think it sent both through a second time (I didn't actually read those, I just know that mine went off four times in total.
@artsngrafts Can relate. I used to like it but it's all gone shit lately. I loved our manager but he was too buddy with the worst possible people (both of whom I'd personally get rid of) and not strict enough so stocktake got messed up and now we have a new manager who doesn't care ๐
@StupidNeilAgain I hate the music on the Co-op funeral ads but the one that really gets me is the radio one for Boots hearing care: " your wife asked you to pick up bread, but you picked up Fred, your grandson and now he's missed football again" can Fred not talk and tell grandad he has football?
@artsngrafts I never did but I'm pretty sure my cousins must have (they got all the best toys, I was so jealous when they got a GameBoy Advance each and mum couldn't afford to get me one).
@fidgetsfive@feederofcats Because a lot of people will leave their dog outside and ignore it in all weathers which to me is more of a welfare concern than a dog living in an apartment who must be walked at least twice a day.
@femmentity@ihyomeo A lot of doctors recommend selective reduction in situations like this but I'm guessing there's probably a religious component involved and they refused.
