Her cameraman was punched, her supporters doused with liquids…but police arrested her.
Widdowson is a leading expert on residential schools.
UVic students in their ignorance called their event “215+” in childish reference to the Kamloops fairy tale.

CBC’s institutional amnesia, Truth & Reconciliation morning
The CBC archives exist. CBC once filmed residential schools as Education Week, “a new future,” integration, a free and equal chance. CBC were the house organ when the policy was respectable. Those tapes do not lead the broadcast today
Then May 2021. A GPR survey at Kamloops was sold as 215 graves. Flags down. “Remains.” Anyone asking for a shovel became a denialist
April 2025: Rosemary Barton said remains had been “found across the country.” CBC’s own correction: no — “potential burial sites or unmarked graves.” Prime time claim. Fine-print walk-back
Today the piano is back. “Believed to hold.” “Potential grave sites.” Then the line they wanted:
People who deny the attempted cultural genocide try to say, show me the graves. Here are the graves
What they actually have in Brandon is a documented cemetery — obituaries, church and vital records, deaths listed 1896–1911, markers later stripped for a park, then a campground. That is not Kamloops. A paper-trail burial ground is not an unexcavated soil anomaly. CBC is using one to close the argument about the other. That is misdirection
Cheerleader. Then prosecutor. Then liturgist. Never the archives first. Never the distinction on air. Never the correction in the same hour as the hymn
Open the archives. CBC needs to say it was part of the propaganda at the time. It needs to say cemetery when it’s a cemetery. Say anomaly when it’s an anomaly. Stop laundering radar into sacrament
The first step at CBC is admitting that they are a big part of the problem @brodiefenlon

"Les États-Unis continueront vraisemblablement d’acheter beaucoup de potasse canadienne. Mais les fournisseurs canadiens ne devraient pas confondre cet avantage avec une garantie que leurs clients accepteront toujours les mêmes conditions."
This video is 100% proof of CNN deceptively editing Trump's January 6th speech.
It's significant because Trump sued the BBC for doing the same thing (splicing together two sections of his speech).
CNN took two clips and joined them by overlaying B-roll footage of the January 6th crowd. CNN did not use a transition to join the clips because people would then know that the clips were not successive. Instead, CNN joined it like this to make people believe that Trump said:
"Nobody until I came along had any idea how corrupt our elections were. And we fight, we fight like hell."
Any responsible person would watch what CNN aired and believe he said that. In fact, he did not. Sections were cut out.
We all know exactly why CNN did this. Trump should sue them too.
🚨 NEW: Hillary Clinton WARNS against the rise of Christianity, says white Christian men are causing "such damage" to the United States
"The idea you could turn the clock back and try to recreate a world that never was, dominated by - let's say it! White men of a certain persuasion, certain religion, certain ideology, it's just doing SUCH DAMAGE to what we should be aiming for!"🤡
Lmao!!
Yes this is real.
This is Tim from a couple of years ago doing his best impression of a politician who pretends to give a shit about the people.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Canada's energy industry is the best in the world.
Take LNG Canada as an example:
✅ Only 10 days of shipping to Asia: less time on the water, fewer emissions.
✅ Emissions projected to be the lowest in the world among similar facilities.
✅ Up to $1B available to five First Nations to take majority ownership, plus 17 First Nations with equity in Coastal GasLink, the pipeline that feeds LNG Canada.
✅ $50B+ in government revenues to pay for the things Canadians rely on: healthcare, childcare, and public safety.
Today is a proud day for Canadian energy 👷♂️🇨🇦

Carney points the finger at tariffs for Hamilton’s lost jobs, while a union voice reveals there’s more to the story. Why don’t the Liberals want Canadians hearing the whole picture?

@theserfstv Deaths one year post time at residential school was added to that number.
Its a farce.
The data is compromised and until such time the truth comes, there will be no reconciliation.
