My Bitget journey started in 2024.

It was a bittersweet year for me.

That year, I had to undergo heart surgery. It was one of the hardest moments my family and I had ever faced. Our savings were completely wiped out, and because I couldn’t work, I felt helpless. I wanted to contribute. I wanted to help my family financially. But I couldn’t.

So I started searching for ways to earn without needing physical work.

That was when I discovered Discord communities where people shared opportunities in Web3.

And I didn’t know it yet, but one Discord announcement was about to change the direction of my life.

That’s where I found @bitget .

I joined my first Bitget AMA, and it became my first real introduction to the platform. I learned so much from the speakers, and somehow, I even won a share of the prize pool.

I was so happy.

It was the first time I earned crypto while learning something valuable at the same time. It may have been just a simple reward, but to me, it meant so much. At a time when every dollar mattered, that $10 felt like a little bit of hope.

But just when I thought things were finally starting to get better, life hit me again.

Two months after my surgery, my six-year-old dog got sick.

I rushed her to the vet with the only money I had at the time — the $10 I won from that Bitget AMA.

I remember waiting for our turn, hoping, praying, believing that maybe she would be okay.

Then, suddenly, she passed away.

I was devastated.

My surgery had just given me a second chance at life.

But in that moment, I felt like I had lost someone who was a part of mine.

And what hurt even more was the thought that kept haunting me:

“What if I had enough money to bring her to the vet sooner?”

“What if I could have done more?”

I don’t think I will ever forget that feeling.

That was the moment something changed inside me.

I promised myself that I would become successful.

Not just for myself.

Not just to have a comfortable life.

But so that someday, when someone I love needs help, I will have the means to give it.

I never wanted to feel that helpless again.

As I continued being part of the Bitget community, they started hosting game nights, educational sessions, and different campaigns where we could earn BGB.

At first, I didn’t think much of it.

I was simply participating. Learning. Having fun.

And slowly, I started accumulating BGB along the way.

Then suddenly, BGB started moving.

I remember watching the value of what I had accumulated rise day after day.

And I got emotional.

Not because I was suddenly making a lot of money.

But because I kept thinking about my dog.

I kept thinking:

“If I had this money back then… maybe I could have saved her.”

That thought stayed with me.

And maybe that was the moment Bitget became more than just an exchange.

It became part of a chapter of my life where I was learning how to stand back up.

How to rebuild.

How to keep going, even after losing so much.

Then another opportunity came from Bitget — the Bitget Builders Program.

At first, I was hesitant.

I was scared I wouldn’t be good enough. I questioned whether I could actually perform the role.

But I took the chance anyway.

Because I didn’t want to let fear stop me from learning and growing.

Looking back now, joining the Builders Program became one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Before becoming a Builder, I was just someone who joined Bitget events.

Then suddenly, I was given the opportunity to become a host.

And something I never expected happened.

I started teaching.

I saw people listen to our discussions, answer our mini assessments correctly, and actually apply what they learned in real life.

And every time that happened, I felt genuinely happy.

Hosting Bitget events made me realize something about myself:

I loved sharing knowledge.

I loved helping people understand something they once found confusing.

And while building, I also met some of the most genuine friends I’ve had over the past two years.

We watched the markets together, especially whenever BGB was pumping hard.

Every educational session became a memory.

Because somehow, even when we were there to learn, we always ended up laughing, joking, and having fun together.

I still remember one time when Aedrielle and I were preparing for a Bitget-sponsored trading competition.

We were under so much pressure while discussing our strategy that we started coming up with ridiculous names for our "strat" just to make each other laugh and ease the tension.

On the same competition, we eventually made a profit trading gold on @Bitget_TradFi .

We didn’t win the competition.

But honestly?

That wasn’t what I remembered most.

What stayed with me were the laughs.

The friendship.

The memories.

The people who made the experience special.

There were also small moments that made me genuinely happy.

I remember how excited I was when Sir Jose Mendoza, our Bitget Country Manager, shared one of my market posts.

It might seem like a small thing.

But to me, it meant something.

It made me feel seen.

It made me feel like the time and effort I was putting in actually mattered.

And then life gave me another challenge.

I was about to enter college, but my family was still struggling financially.

I needed a laptop for my engineering degree, but I simply couldn’t afford one.

And without the equipment I needed, I was scared that I might have to stop studying.

That laptop was never just a gadget to me.

It meant education.

It meant opportunity.

It meant that I could continue chasing my dream of becoming a computer engineer.

And because of the Bitget Builders Program, I was introduced to opportunities that eventually helped me get that laptop.

Looking back, I sometimes find it hard to believe how much my life has changed.

In 2024, I was someone who was recovering from heart surgery, struggling financially, and desperately looking for a way to help my family.

I was someone who lost his dog and carried the painful thought that maybe he could have saved her if he had more money.

And I was someone who was about to give up on my dream of becoming a computer engineer because I couldn’t afford the laptop,

I started with just one AMA.

One $10 reward.

One opportunity.

And somehow, that small beginning led me here.

My Bitget journey was never really about the money.

It was about hope.

It was about finding an opportunity when I felt like I had none.

It was about meeting people who became friends.

It was about discovering something I didn’t know I was capable of doing.

And perhaps most of all, it was about becoming the person I promised myself I would become on the day I lost my best friend:

Someone who would never again feel powerless when the people he loves needed him.

Somewhere along the way, Bitget stopped being a platform I used and became something I genuinely cared about. That’s when I know…

I’m not just a Bitget user anymore.

I’m a Bitget fan.

And I’m grateful that when I look back at some of the hardest moments of my life, Bitget was there — not just as a platform, but as part of the journey that helped me keep moving forward.
