@flying_boatman Rule of thumb is all diesels after 2015 and all petrols after 2005 are compliant. Be warned, however, that AdBlue diesels are the work of Satan.

@AdrianEllison17@SnailTideway@flying_boatman If it's something narrow like a post, you might be able to manoeuvre off it by getting the non-tangled side to row or back to spin you onto the downstream side. But you will need to be extremely quick, it takes seconds for a boat to snap in a Tideway stream.

@JustThatLucy1 Just looking in your area. Try John Davey Limited or RGS Autopaints.
What you're looking for is acrylic in an aerosol, also known as "2K converted" aerosol. It will need to be mixed to order, expect to pay ~£20 per can. If they stock MIPA OC tinters then ask for plain T90.
@JustThatLucy1 Once you've got 2 coats on, if you can still see the primer add extra coats. Bear in mind your drying time between coats will increase each time. White usually needs 3 coats to cover the primer. Be disciplined; spray just enough to get the paint to flow.
@JustThatLucy1 Then apply 2-3 normal coats. A normal coat means you get enough paint on that it will flow and gloss out, but not so much it will run. That takes practice but having a mist coat down first will reduce the tendency to run.
Allow each coat to dry until the edges are tacky.
