Absolutely delighted to be elected as the first @UKLabour councillor for Penistone East since 1998.
The road to Westminster for Labour runs through villages likes ours in Penistone East.
The hard work starts tomorrow. Tonight I’m having fish and chips and a beer!
What an extraordinary coincidence! I'm literally just writing about my g.g.aunt, Constance Frederica, and one of her paintings turns up on #antiquesroadshow.
@BarclaysUK I hope the letter you've just sent me isn't saying I won't be able to make card payments for on-line purchases unless I have a mobile phone??
I know it's unlucky to keep one's decorations up after #TwelfthNight, but does that mean taking them down today or tomorrow? I'm afraid we've probably got it wrong in previous years, hence Covid. Sorry, world.

@richardosman Good. I was so pleased when you said how nice I was looking the other day - and surprised, since it was hairwashing day and I really wasn't. Then remembered those programmes aren't live, so maybe I was at the time of recording.
Oh dear, I really couldn't get the Mystery Voice on the @BBCGlos News Quiz, even when I heard it again. Turned out to be my sister! @cummingsradio@KatieFforde
I so resent this modern assumption that 'everyone' has a mobile phone. Just been through hoops on https://t.co/AUgfU50IpC to send for Covid tests, only to be told I can't proceed any further without one. This is the same NHS who warn us of the perils of mobile phone addiction!
What an extraordinary coincidence! Of all the 300 odd pointless answers the contestants might have picked, two of the ones they chose were the same as mine. @TVsPointless @KatieFforde
Our first fox cubs of 2021 racing round the garden last night. (We were as excited as they are).

They were being guarded by their auntie or grandmother. This is what happened when a badger turned up:

@PhillipaAshley@BBCSpringwatch Tell me about it! I've been filling the worst of the holes with soil so I don't break my ankle walking round. But we've decided we prefer badgers to lawn.
Such a funny sight! This roe deer came into our garden from next door, accompanied and firmly seen off the premises by two badgers. Mostly on the all-night camera we can't copy, sadly, but one of the trap cameras caught the last bit:
