I’ve never been to Enugu, but I know Independence Layout, Enugu from Ifeoma Okoye’s “Behind the Clouds”. I read it 12 years ago and remember it being described as a highbrow area. I still see people mention it online sometimes, and it feels so familiar… Books, what a concept!
