this happens on a regular basis
Yr 1 there is scarcity the prices peak
Yr 2 everone plants and there is glut, prices drop and losses
Yr 3 farmers dont plant again and scarcity + high price

The prices drop during glut season, ie dry season for tomatoes , when tomatoes from the north is everywhere, and the prices peak in may/June period , because they dont so well during the rains.

US Annual min wage = 13,920 liters of fuel

Nigeria min wage = 840,000/ 800 = 1000 lites of fuel

USA min wage buys 13 x worth of fuel

Food is evem more
