Robert Lisesi öğrencisi Ayşe Umay Bahçıvan, geliştirdiği susuz tarım projesiyle hem Türkiye’de hem de uluslararası alanda dikkat çeken bir başarıya imza attı.
📍 Elbistan’da 2 bin metre rakımdaki arazi, yıllardır kullanılmıyordu. En büyük sorun ise su kaynağının bulunmamasıydı.
Ayşe Umay’ın projesinde leonardit gübre kullanılarak toprağın mevcut suyu daha verimli tutması ve böylece tarımsal üretimde ihtiyaç duyulan su miktarının azaltılması hedeflendi.
🌳 Çalışma ilk olarak 500 kayısı fidanıyla başladı.
🍑 Daha ilk hasatta yaklaşık 4 ton yaş kayısı elde edildi.
Bu başarı çevredeki arazi sahiplerine de ilham verdi. Proje zamanla büyüyerek yaklaşık 10 bin ağaçlık bir üretim kapasitesine ulaştı.
