@wholemars We see many safety critical issues in Australia. Version 14.3.5. Overtaking on double lines to head on traffic. Clipping gutters. Pulling in front of vehicles at roundabouts. Attempting to drive into concrete barriers, to name a few.

2025 vehicle market was approx 1.2mm vehicles. 60 odd % were suv type vehicles. Obviously some genuinely require 4x4 or tray for work. The rest probably never see off road or site work. I do wonder what % of the remainder would like a suv based on cybertruck platform? School runs, weekends away, Bunnings trips etc..

@JohnCleese Usually claims of follow the money are way off base. However, as we’ve recently discovered in AUS, the Labor Gov directly funds private media companies with tax payer funds. It does make one wonder.

@AvidCommentator I often wonder if missing the point is a deliberate strategy to drive traffic, under the old adage of any publicity is good publicity?

@AlexDillman @aelluswamy @paulg Because there are different laws in other countries. E.g in Australia you can and will be fined for exceeding the speed limit by 2-3kph. Fixed and mobile speed cameras do this. Fsd can/will not adhere to speed here. So constant disengagement.
