Google is most likely dead in the AI race. Their models right now are not good enough to compete. The other leading labs just seem more focused at the moment and I don't see why that would change. Data doesn't reallly matter. Remember, Microsoft owned github and look at copilot.

@Tech_girl I doubt it strongly, their post-trained models are not good enough right now and they don't seem to be competitive enough for the long-term.

I don't know why people think Watermarks on AI outputs is a bad thing. It would make data handling 10x easier in the future and expose those who rely on AI slop, win win.
