Anthony Albanese says One Nation is “dangerous, divisive and downright dishonest”.

He says some parties will “say anything and do anything to win votes”, “bend any facts” and “peddle misinformation and disinformation”.

This clown needs to hold up a mirror to himself.

This is a Prime Minister who routinely lies to Australians. He tells people struggling to pay their mortgage, rent and grocery bills that the country is in “good shape”.

Now he wants his government to have more power over free speech.

There are genuine social problems associated with social media. But the answer is not giving a government like this the machinery to decide what is misinformation, what is dangerous and what Australians should be allowed to see, say and share.

Australia should be moving away from government censorship, not building the Orwellian machinery for it.

China does it. Iran does it. Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Myanmar do it.

Now Albo wants to build it here.

The Albanese Government must stop hiding the truth about the Bondi attack and immediately release the video held by the Australian Federal Police showing the Bondi attackers reciting from the Qu’ran and talking about their plans.
One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said Australians deserved honesty from their government about the danger of radical Islamic terrorism.

“Labor hasn’t been upfront with Australians about the Bondi attack,” Senator Hanson said.

“The Federal Police hold a secret video of Naveed Akram and his father sitting in front of an image of the Islamic State flag, with firearms, before allegedly reciting a passage from the Qur’an and making statements about their plans.

“This goes directly to what Australians have been told about this attack and whether the Government has been upfront about the level of threat we face from radical Islamic terror.

“Labor is trying to hide the truth because they don’t want to offend western Sydney electorates.

“For almost two days after the attack, the Prime Minister refused to call it what it was: Islamic terrorism. Instead, he scapegoated law-abiding firearms owners.

“The AFP Commissioner tried to tell Australians the Bondi attack was not motivated by religion. Releasing a video of the alleged attackers in front of an Islamic State flag and reciting from the Qur’an would be deeply embarrassing for the authorities who tried to downplay the threat.

“One Nation applied for the release of the video under freedom of information law. The AFP blocked that application. Detailed descriptions of the video and other material have already been released by the court and reported on by the media. There’s no reason to keep the actual video secret.

“We have now appealed the decision to the Information Commissioner, but that process could take years.

“Whether it is who we allow into Australia, how we deal with extremists already here, the return of the ISIS brides or what Australians are told after a terrorist attack, national security starts with telling the truth.

“Australians should not have to wait years to learn the truth. The Albanese Government must release the video now and be upfront about the threat of radical Islamic terrorism.”

Australia must immediately shut the door to migrants from some of the world’s most dangerous countries listed on the government's own "Do Not Travel" list.

One Nation asked the Senate to support establishing an inquiry into our Protecting Australians from Foreign Terrorist Fighters Bill and we secured it.

The bill will now go to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee, with a report due on 7 September.

This is about one simple principle: Australians come first. Their safety, their security and their right to live free from the threat of foreign terrorist fighters must come before Labor’s excuses, political games and weak leadership.

If the law is stopping the government from keeping terrorists out, then change the law.

One Nation is trying to put every possible barrier in place to protect Australians and keep dangerous extremists out of our country.

I won't stay silent while productive farmland is sold off and converted into carbon credit schemes. Rushy Lagoon is Tasmania's largest farm and one of the country's significant beef, dairy, sheep and cropping properties. Australian bidders wanted to keep it producing food, yet the Albanese Government approved its sale to foreign owners backed by millions of dollars in taxpayer support.

Australians are already facing rising grocery prices and growing pressure on our food supply. Every acre of productive farmland matters. Instead of supporting Australian farmers and strengthening our food security, this government is helping drive a net zero agenda that puts carbon credits ahead of food production.

That's why I demanded answers in the Senate. Why is taxpayer money being used to support foreign investors buying Australian farmland? Why are productive agricultural properties being diverted into carbon credit projects? I'll keep fighting to protect our farmers, our farmland and Australia's food security.

Have a listen to Labor’s waffle trying to justify $2.5 billion in taxpayer money going to Tomago who’s going broke because of unaffordable electricity.

At the same time taxpayers are bailing out Tomago, Labor will continue to fine them under the net-zero Safeguard Mechanism.

We’ve cut out as much Labor waffle as we can, so stay until the end to hear Barnaby Joyce completely dismantle the net-zero agenda that’s sending Australia broke.

Last year I warned this Tomago band-aid won’t fix the net-zero policy that’s destroying the country.
