👋 - Today we are back at @DunbarPrimary working with the fantastic @P1Dunbar, providing football taster sessions.

We run a brilliant soccer school on a Saturday morning for boys (10:00-11:00) and girls (09:00-10:00) at Hallhill.

All our new p1s have just been amazing this week. We are so impressed with their start to school! What ⭐️ stars. We look forward to getting set up on google classroom and being able to share lots of photographs with you all. Thank you for your patience in these first few weeks.

These pieces of writing came from a story one of our pupils brought in about a alien. It just shows that play pedagogy in p1 and allowing children to follow their own interests WORKS! Attainment has been amazing this year. #playistheway @DunbarPrimary

BLOWN away by these boys’ pieces of writing today! They were so engaged and enjoying it too. Using Stephen Graeme’s training has just been amazing. Most of the class in 1D were able to write 3-4 sentences after just one year in school. Incredible 😃🥰😍 @DunbarPrimary

All our p1 classes are having visits to @eastlothianlibs . P1D had a great time today. It is so lovely to be out and about again. Thank you very much Dunbar library for having us 😄

We had a great visit with our Primary 6 buddies today. We explored lines of symmetry and made symmetrical pictures using items from nature and loose parts. We then gave our buddies a tour of the Primary 1 garden and had a little play together! @P6Dunbar

Our p1 teachers missed out on this sofa by about 4 minutes after we ran over. We are desperately seeking comfy sofas from smoke free homes to help enhance the home areas in our p1 classrooms! If anyone has anything they are thinking of getting rid of, please let us know 🤩
