We have some white poppies available @stannesdunbar. If you'd like one, you're can help yourself during our opening hours (10am-4pm daily). White poppies stand for 3 things: remembrance of all victims of war; challenging war and militarism; and a commitment to peace.
Fantastic news: @stannesdunbar in #EastLothian are finalists in the #NationalChurchAwards! Watch the FREE ceremony livestream on YouTube - hosted by comedian Hugh Dennis in London on 6 Nov - to cheer them on!

It’s been a very full-on couple of weeks. I couldn’t be prouder of the wonderful community & friends of @StAnnesDunbar. We’ve celebrated Christmas with over 1100 people this yr! The congregation put in so much hard work to make this possible. Thank you & well done, everyone! 🎄⭐️
P1 had a fabulous morning at @StAnnesDunbar Thank you so much for having us and for the warm welcome. We loved visiting church at Christmas time again. Diana did a fantastic service as always. Thank you. @DunbarPrimary
Today we had a very special Christmas Assembly at Lochend. Many thanks to Diana for leading our service, the excellent cello group for their performance and P5/6 for their hopes and prayers video. #MerryChristmas
Had a fab weekend @StAnnesDunbar! Vestry planning day on Sat; then today, worship for All Saints w/a full house: @BeBelhaven choristers, boarders & supporting parents; 2 @dunbar_grammar DofE Service volunteers; a St Mary’s Music School organ scholar; & Young Church! @EdinDiocese
Did you know that ‘Halloween’ comes from the words for ‘Saint’ and ‘Eve’? It’s marked on eve of All Saints Day, which is 1 Nov. Today we reflected on local ‘faith heroes’ (Saints!) & remembered that we’re all saints - made in God’s image and showing God’s light in the world.
It was fantastic to have our first ‘in person’ Harvest Assembly in a few years. Thank you to Rev Diana Hall for leading our assembly. The children enjoyed retelling the story of The Enormous Turnip and bringing their donations for Dunbar FoodShare. #community#sharing#teamwork
Our Coffee, Cake & Chat group went on tour today, to St Abbs, Eyemouth & Coldingham Priory. Much fun was had, learning about a local suffragette, a maritime disaster & the local history of Christianity. Of course we also stopped for fab fish & chips, & ice-cream @Giacopazzis 🤩🤩
