For those that don’t know what this photo is, it shows Elon Musk sitting alone on the floor of the Tesla Model 3 production line during what he famously referred to as “production hell.” This powerful image captures a moment of exhaustion and reflection, symbolizing the immense pressure & challenges Tesla faced during the ramp-up of the Model 3 in 2017-2018. At this time, the company struggled with manufacturing bottlenecks, delays, and faced potential bankruptcy as the team worked to scale up production to meet overwhelming demand. Elon, worked alongside his employees around the clock, even slept on the factory floor during this time to solve these issues. This is an iconic representation of his hands-on leadership style and the intense, personal “all in” investment he made to ensure Tesla’s success during one of its most critical periods. Tesla wouldn’t be where it is today if it wasn’t for Elon and the team’s sacrifices.

Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.

I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
