New name, same deal. Now with more frags and teabags.
"EUHaloLeague" is now "Play2Win", and we're adding @Splitgate to the mix.
It's early stages, but expect some community driven tournaments hosted by the usual man himself @Nadestraight in the future.
This isn't the announcement I was planning to release this week, but sadly I have made the decision to postpone this page and all future tournaments until further notice.
This comes after a medical issue that will interfere in the future. Hopefully we can resume for Infinite.
Today's 4v4 has been postponed due to multiple reasons including: The MCC Am Series Tournament, Lower than usual team counts due to player schedules, and personal responsibilities/ my schedule.
We'll take the prize pool and add it onto the next cup, for a bigger prize next time.
@Squashy_joshy@Thuruuu I'll have to try and come up with something, Ideally I want to host 1 cup per week but still do some fun/ practice stuff in the middle.
@Squashy_joshy@Thuruuu Leading up to events the practice cups worked well as there was something to "practice" for. Not sure how well they'd do during the games current state but we can try in future.
@LegeeendZ Not for the fun cups, just something to play/ something to do, putting up money every tournament isn't sustainable without support from devs or sponsors.
Additionally, 2 players suggested keeping grenade launcher but allowing teams that don't want to use the weapon to gentlemens agreement on it.
This is likely the path we will take for the future, and we'll see how it plays out for 2/3 more tournaments.
After gathering feedback from our recent 2v2, here's what has been said:
- No radar in 2v2 is favoured by 68% of players who voted.
- No Plasma Pistol on Truth was a 75% in favour vote.
- Grenade launcher on Regret is a 50/50, with some players saying it needs more testing.
@X3rThoS I think so too, similar to 4v4 but there'd be a bigger turnout due to needing less players per team, the only worry with 4v4 cups these days is the lack of population
