Decision of a lifetime!
Stay or go? What should CC do?
So here was the Halftime show on PRIME tonight. Tor vs LA
Three black commentators (Two ex players and one broadcaster) gave their opinion of the suspension of Thomas.
ALL of them basically disagreed with the suspension by the WNBA and then said they didn’t think Thomas meant to do it and it wasn’t intentional🤯🤯🤯 huh? WTF???
Folks this is the not so subtle hate toward CC that is just below the surface. It really was on the surface if I’m telling the truth.
This is the BWLMafia position.
This will never be fixed so Caitlyn Clark now has a very difficult choice.
Stay in a league that is determined to hurt her, ruin her career, and target her nonstop so she risks her mental health, by being attacked, or leave.
She can absolutely leave and grow the game worldwide. She is the first and only player who can make this a reality and void the WNBA altogether.
Most fans follow only CC so the league will die a fast death. IMO. Viewership will plummet and the next CBA and TV Deal will be a fraction of what they recently got.
I WANT CC TO GO! There is nothing but bad things that will happen by staying in the WNBA.
The only way I would stay is if the league fires all of the officials and hires a new commissioner. CC then must go to a Franchise that wants to run it with the protection of CC as their top priority. Surround her with protection and challenge every instance of abuse. And I mean lawsuits.
Even with all that I want her to leave.
She will never be safe because the jealousy is hard wired into the league. They truly believe (BWLM) they are owed the WNBA and no way a straight white woman can be allowed to show them up and dominate. They will not allow it. Bottom line.
This is so disheartening.
Amazon can’t be happy that their player commentators/host basically said violence last night, directed at CC wasn’t a big deal and A Thomas shouldn’t be suspended. That’s insane but that’s where the WNBA sits today!
Sorry but CC will never be safe in the WNBA.
She must GO.
She has no choice!
Arrivederci!

This. Right here.
The WNBA retroactively suspending AT & giving her a F2 doesn’t fix the real issue with reffing: consistency.
Reacting when a clip goes viral is cool but “there needs to be a plan” because uneven officiating is the only consistent thing.
Ig: @djtriceytrice
WNBA suspends Alyssa Thomas for just ONE game after punching Caitlin Clark in the throat. It’s nowhere near enough.
These attacks on Caitlin keep happening while the league does nothing. This is assault.
Should we boycott the WNBA and let it go bankrupt?
A. Yes
B. No
The WNBA needs a new commissioner.
Cathy Engelbert isn’t cutting it.
>The officiating is atrocious.
>Players are targeting Caitlin Clark.
>They leave the league’s biggest star, CC, off of the 30 year poster.
Cathy Engelbert should resign immediately.
I wish just one of the vets in this league would make a statement condemning what AT did, and to show support for Caitlin. I know you're out there...it's time to use your spine.
She should be kicked out of the league
When AT injured Candace Parker
- When AT elbowed Natisha Heideman
- When AT grabbed Angel on the neck and dropped her
- When AT injured Fiebich bumping her into Kah Copper
- When AT injured Napheesa
- When AT "trying to stand up" pressed her BALLED UP FIST on Caitlin's neck
@jasonwhitlock Are you fucking kidding me Jason? We are calling for the EXPULSION of AT, Fire White and coaches, including Lin, Amber Kelley, all of them pick a side dude because the fence riding you do should have you so full of splinters that you couldn't walk
NOT FUCKING ACCEPTABLE @WNBA
JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE @NBA
It's time you eject AT from the @PhoenixMercury from the league and league events including All-stars
Absolutely true I-am-not-making-this-up fun fact: this is the exact same punishment that Caitlin Clark will get if she claps her hands in a game three more times
@cc22report The only way anything changes is if the league is utterly humiliated on a national level, to the point that the NBA intervenes & institutes more of an NBA-like approach.
But I doubt that Silver really gives much of a fuck.
Let's understand something
This is the barest of bare minimums the league could get away with
After this thing exploded into national news with salacious photos and Steph's postgame presser providing compelling sound, there was no way the league could sweep this under the rug
And it's extremely obvious to anyone with eyes what they are looking at and that it is wrong
AT is going to laugh at this suspension - absolutely laugh at it - while sipping a drink with a little umbrella in it while her team plays Saturday without her
I said it before, there is no punishment short of banning her for life that will affect AT in any way
Therefore my bigger concern is not with, what is going to happen to AT
My absolute biggest concern is - what is the league going to do to correct the core issue, which is that Caitlin is officiated differently than anyone else
That is the only thing I care about because it has to change
But right now, I'm afraid that the league considers this matter closed
And if that's the case then the answer to my concern is
They will do nothing
A cheap shot that could’ve seriously injured another player gets 1 game and a $1,000 fine?
That’s embarrassing.
The WNBA is supposed to protect its players, not treat dangerous plays like minor mistakes.
You can’t claim player safety matters while handing out slap-on-the-wrist punishments for reckless hits.
If the league doesn’t make examples out of this kind of behavior, it’s going to keep happening.
And eventually, someone is going to get seriously hurt.

What is happening to @CaitlinClark22 right now is horrible.
This woman has carried the WNBA to new heights, yet they don’t seem to care that she is taking beatings left and right.
They even snubbed her on the WNBA's 30th-anniversary poster.
If the WNBA cares about the success of its brand, it needs to get smart and protect Clark.
