Stick uchikomi using a Japanese Bo (six-foot staff). The main focus here is on the lower body, to develop timing, coordination and fluid movement. In many ways this is more challenging than using a throwing dummy. Great for lockdown and beyond!

Fabulous school. I’ve coached Judo at HG for two years now and the sporting ethos of the school is excellent, staff are very friendly, the children happy and hard working. The school grounds have to be seen to believed.

Champions 2019! A massive thank you to Matthew Glossop, Martin Steed and Graham Furber for fantastic support and making judo at Harrow tick.
