We at the Coalition are taking the opportunity of #BHM2024 to delve into a lesser known form of violence against women and girls, that of Misogynoir. This form of misogyny is a clear example of how systems of oppression intersect impacting the everyday lives of Black women and why adopting multiple perspectives to understanding power and oppression is an essential part of feminist practice and analysis.
Have you ever come across the term 'Misogynoir'? Tell us about it in the comments 👇 #BlackHistoryMonthUK #BlackHistoryMonth2024 #Misogynoir #BlackHistoryMonthUK
