Our hearts go out to Riverdee Stable and the Jack Fisher training team on the loss of their timber horse POTUS last week to colic. POTUS won the allowance timber race at PHC in 2025, and we were hoping he'd return this fall to race with us again. Rest in peace, POTUS. 💔

Way back in 1982 our own PHC vice president, Jay Meister, piloted BLAZE MILLER to victory in the timber stakes.
Jay rode Blaze Miller at PHC in 3 separate years, finishing 2nd, 3rd, and 1st.
We're so fortunate to have a race committee with such a long and storied history with us!
