In my 30 yrs as a PA I have found one constant truth. Health professionals who step on other colleagues to be seen or heard are lacking confidence, competence, or comfort in their own skin. We all have saved lives and can cheer each other on instead of tear each other apart.
@EmergencyBod Love this response. When you choose a career that is about others and not about you this is the answer. Person centered care centers around the patient not the provider.

We talked chest pain, repaired a complex laceration with tendon involvement, and reminisced about living in the Mitten.
It was so much fun and the most fulfilling shift I’ve had in a long time.
