BLESSED!! Steelers Canucks

[Vote Canada @VoteCanadaCom]

Is David Eby @Dave_Eby losing the government tomorrow after today’s election counts, the documents that would most worry you if the next government walked into the files and opened everything are these, ranked by how bad they look when the lights come on:

https://t.co/mdUGqQp7SK

1. Safer-supply / PharmaCare investigative files (the biggest one)

The special investigative unit materials and related Ministry of Health documents that already leaked in pieces. They show the government knew a significant portion of the prescribed opioids were not going to the patients, were being diverted and trafficked (including internationally), and that dozens of pharmacies were running prohibited incentive/kickback schemes to maximize billing. These sit alongside the public record of years of statements treating diversion claims as overblown. A new government releasing the full unredacted files, PharmaNet data, and any internal advice that contradicted the public line would be the most damaging single package. It turns a policy fight into “they knew and downplayed it.”

2. The September 10 forestry “Land Returns” briefings and related cabinet materials

The confidential documents (NDAs required) committing roughly 400 Crown parcels for transfer to First Nations and laying out the plan to change compensation rules for forest companies so the province could do it cheaper. Dated just before the snap election call, not in the platform, and tied to potential large unbudgeted liabilities. Opening the full package (parcel lists, fiscal modeling, cabinet approvals, any earlier secret deals) looks like deliberate concealment of major land and money commitments right before voters went to the polls.

3. Gas royalty company-level data and the legislative changes that locked it down

Previously releasable FOI material on what individual companies actually paid in royalties was later shielded by law changes. Combined with the drop in royalty revenues while production rose, this is the file that lets a new government put the numbers next to the LNG narrative and ask why the public data was cut off.

4. Major project cost memos (especially Massey Tunnel)

The Premier’s Office and ministry materials showing the higher cost figures were known internally months before they appeared in public budgets and status reports. Not pure corruption, but clear evidence of delayed or incomplete disclosure on a multi-billion-dollar file.

Everything else is secondary
Calendars, no-bid contract lists that were slow-walked, preferred-supplier advertising contracts with political connections, gift-card perks, earlier secret Indigenous agreements (Sechelt etc.), and the general FOI backlog/restrictions. Those generate headlines and “secrecy” stories but do not hit as hard as the two packages above once they are fully opened.

Congratulations to Donald J. Trump on his election as the 47th President of the United States.

The U.S. is Canada’s best friend and biggest trading partner, and I will work with the President to benefit both countries.

My mission: save our jobs.

The U.S. has already taken half a trillion dollars of investment and jobs from Canada under 9 years of Trudeau, and our people cannot afford homes and food. Yesterday’s result confirms we must cancel Trudeau’s plan to quadruple the carbon tax and hike other taxes, which would push hundreds of thousands more jobs south where President Trump will be cutting taxes even further.

We must axe taxes. Bring home our paycheques. Save our jobs. Stand up for Canada.
