Fellows, You are aware of “bullet shaped LV” of constriction isn’t it. Well, a banana shaped ventricles from apical 4 chamber view is constrictive pericarditis unless proved otherwise. This is the 3rd case of constriction, Cath & CT proved with this particular shape I have found.

For a long time, we waited for aortic stenosis patients to become symptomatic before considering therapy, based on old data (risk of surgery vs watchful waiting).
