Why do the laws of physics fail at Singularity? ✍️

The laws of physics break down at singularities because the extreme conditions there exceed the limits of our current understanding of the universe. Singularities, such as the center of a black hole or the moment of the Big Bang, are points where density becomes infinite, and spacetime curvature becomes immeasurable.

Here’s why they defy physics:

1. General Relativity Fails: Einstein’s equations can’t handle infinite values, rendering them ineffective in such conditions.

2. Quantum Mechanics Takes Over: At very small scales, quantum effects dominate, but we lack a complete theory of quantum gravity to unify it with relativity.

3. Infinite Spacetime Distortion: The extreme curvature of spacetime at singularities breaks conventional mathematical models.

4. Observational Limits: Singularities are often hidden by event horizons (like in black holes), making direct study impossible.

Her name is Shaheen Malik.

In 2009 she was 26. Working as a student counsellor in Panipat, Haryana.

Her boss wanted a relationship. She said no.

He arranged for acid to be thrown on her face.

She lost vision in one eye. She underwent 25 surgeries over 16 years.

She went to court.

Evidence recorded in 2015. Cross examination done in 2019. Final arguments in 2024.

On December 24 2025 the verdict came.

All three accused acquitted. Not enough evidence.

She walked out with tears in her eyes.

She said Satyamev Jayate written above the judge’s seat felt like a lie.

She did not stop.

She appealed. She went to the Supreme Court. In January 2026 the Chief Justice said what a mockery of the legal system.

While fighting her own case she founded Brave Souls Foundation. 50 acid attack survivors live in her shelter home in Delhi. She has secured Rs 3 crore in compensation for other survivors.

If I lose courage then a lot of survivors will too.

She is still fighting.
