If I say I think she eats pig feed "darak" for breakfast lunch and dinner... And say, I'm being honest about reviewing her appearance in her posts... Is that acceptable? Of course not.
I hope people stop using honesty to normalize rudeness.

Honesty can also go with politeness, civility and gentleness.
However we pick how we express honesty will show our character.
