I expect it to mature & move way beyond sports too
@mattkalish@LoganPredicts obv for binary event contracts, it is not easy to do. Thats why you observe that. Size can drive price. The sportsbetting industry manages this one way (cynically, refusing skilled bettors)... the finance industry manages it differently for market integrity.
@mattkalish@LoganPredicts Actually, that happens every day ... as a MM you may be making markets for some of the smartest and best resourced hedge funds/asset managers in the world... posting size also... you manage the risk of the underlying, your position sizing, and the flow...
@mattkalish@LoganPredicts No regulated financial exchange can refuse your (legal) order on a discretionary basis... MM's have to price the risk... every sportsbook can because there is no obligation to ensure transparent, fair and orderly markets
