There are some feelings you don’t need words for. When you see relief on a mother’s face, when you see parents finally breathe easy because their children are well again, you understand everything in that moment.

In Nandigram, a family’s young daughter, who has been battling thalassemia, fell seriously ill. She was brought to the Sebaashray camp, referred for treatment, and taken to NRS Hospital, where she received the care she needed through a system built to respond quickly and responsibly. Today, she is healthy again. Seeing her smile, and seeing the calm return to her parents’ faces, was deeply moving.

For families, illness is not just about medicine. It is about fear, waiting, uncertainty, and the worry that no parent ever wants to carry. Sebaashray exists to ensure that in those moments, help is available without hesitation, without cost, and without dignity being compromised.

My only prayer is that this young girl’s life be filled with health, happiness, and strength, and that every family who needs support finds it when they need it most.

The moment SIR was announced, the game began, and the picture is ugly and unmistakable. Before the exercise has even properly rolled out, voters are disappearing from rolls in Natabari, Mathabhanga, Ashoknagar and now Basirhat.

In one Basirhat booth alone the online list shows a blank stretch from S. No. 859–892. Names present in 2002 have simply vanished today. This reeks of a deliberate, state-directed operation to erase voters. SIR, as Shri @abhishekaitc pointed out, is being used as a cover for Silent Invisible Rigging.

The self-styled Jonobirodhi Zamindars in Delhi, aided by a pliant machinery, are attempting industrial-scale voter cleansing under the guise of revision. Bengal will not stand by as its people are methodically silenced. The right to vote is not a favour; it is a constitutional guarantee.

Let it be known that if a single legitimate voter is struck off, we will take our protest to the very doors of Nirvachan Sadan. This is a clear warning to those who think they can steal an election by deleting names.
