Becky Hammon on why the Knicks can’t win a championship:
“They don't have a dude... you got to have a 1A dude."
Perkins: "They do have that dude…Jalen Brunson."
Hammon: "He too small. If your best player is small, you're not winning."
If he leaves SA to partner up with Anthony Edwards and Cade Cunningham and then loses the next one. And then goes 4-10 on finals while firing every coach he had and hand picking his roster every year then maybe.
Hopefully Victor Wembanyama knows that if he loses in the Finals at 22 years old, he will no longer be eligible to ever be considered better than Michael Jordan.
Without getting into the intangibles let’s just stay at this. Scoring (Highest PPG ever) : jump shooter, free throw shooter, post game, first step, footwork, ability to score in crowds, elevates off left, right, or two feet, volume scoring in flow of offensive system.
"I've seen those guys on the same floor in person probably 8-10 times…
Not once did I come away thinking AJ Dybantsa is a better prospect than Darryn Peterson”

That standing reach looks great today, but wait until they measure his vertical. He set himself up for one of the worst verticals in nba lottery history. Wouldn’t be shocked to see around 25 inches this week.
@hoopstonite@_JasonLT@TheVolumeSports I have an issue with calling that a non basketball play. A small guard trying to get a center to flip their hips and change direction is textbook basketball. Hartenstein is throwing it off the glass if AR just continues to drive and goes up as you and Doris suggest.
@RGIII@ShehanJeyarajah Iverson played basketball the whole time, Charlie ward played basketball in college, Nate Robinson played basketball in college the whole time. Three irrelevant points. The NFL drafts people who have never picked up a football almost every year. The eagles just did that.

For the Monsters’ final pick, their third round selection was outfielder Peter Bocchino!
With several years experience in the Pecos League and Atlantic League, a stint in Italian Serie A, and time with Team Italy, Bocchino brings veteran presence to Pearl!
@JohnBollman11 Would be curious how many of his stolen bases allowed this season came with this guy on the mound tho. Almost every clip was in the 1.5 range. He also takes the ball out of his glove before leg lift on every pitch.
@eatfruit818@sneaky_blinders@TheHoopHerald Exactly and second round contracts aren’t guaranteed. So to me mcneeley is probably in the best situation he can be in terms of his career
