Perhaps a major attraction to Christianity in Britain in years to come will be that we don’t kill our infants & old people
Belief - even residual - that we are all made in the image of God is what leads us to protect the most vulnerable rather than dispatch them as inconvenient
When 279 MPs bleat on about "choice" then vote to force hospices and care homes to allow people to be killed on their premises, they are telling you that all they care about is to force their obsession with suicide on everyone. Shame on them all.

"The Biblical fact is that there are no successful churches. There are, instead, communities of sinners, gathered before God week after week in towns and villages all over the world."

Tragic outcome in Westminster today.
We are a nation under the judgement of God who is handing us over to our desires.
Progress is about killing babies in the womb and handing people poison so they can commit suicide.
It seems completely unbelievable that on an issue of such absolute moral clarity - that human beings do not lose their value because they are sick - a majority of our parliament could fail to see it.

I’m struck listening to people who support the Assisted Suicide Bill that a common reason is they wouldn’t have to die alone but could die at a set time with their friends and family. What a need there is for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who never leaves us!
This is an important point. But we should note: there have been many civilised societies with no belief at all in the value of such people. The Romans, Spartans, Aztecs, etc. etc.
It is Christianity specifically, not civilisation in general, which values people like this.

I've quickly digested the Leadbeater Bill, which was published this evening; I hope what follows reflects it accurately. The good news is we can stop this nonsense about 'assisted dying', 'shortening death' etc.
