A small rural community standing in opposition to the installment of a 20 million gallon untreated human waste open storage lagoon. We want clean air and water!
Thank you @JayHottinger for meeting with our group this week to discuss legislation regulating #biosolids in Ohio, and @kevinmillerohio for continuing to work on this!
Contaminated communities have infuriatingly had it with the ridiculous and insulting "we are a good neighbor" PR campaigns of #PFAS polluters, and trying to tout otherwise when all data suggests quite the opposite.

@pfoaprojectny1 Oh, we’ve sure heard that from @QuasarEnergy ... they force themselves into the community against all opposition and then have the audacity to say they want to be good neighbors.
@O_R_V_I The new thing that we’re dealing with in Perry County Ohio (a coal county) is #biosolids application and storage, which threatens to ruin communities and environments in a very serious way.
It’s astounding how many cases there are - similar to ours - of industrial corruption and political inaction around the country. They’re not all #biosolids...some are #fracking, #windfarms, or #solarfarms... but all negatively impact their communities.
.@PAHealthDept toured the health impacts of fracking in SW PA, where there is a widespread and growing cancer crisis, including rare and fatal childhood cancer.
Come see for yourself, .@PAGOP .@PADems before you cast another blind vote.
