The PCFA purchased one of eight pines being planted today at the Red Mill. Thank you Noreen Logel, Friends of the Red Mill, for coordinating this for us!

The Portland Christmas Parade was in full lights and color. Thank you for all those who came out to support our little city!
Busy day yesterday for some PCFA and PBB members! We are ready for the Christmas parade December 10th. Then sorting out food and gifts donated by our generous community. Christmas giveaway is December 15th.

The food was donated to the Portland Food Bank, and the extra coats/clothes went to area organizations in need.
Another successful Coat & Cold Weather Gear is in the books. Fifty two families will be enjoying 213 coats.

The bus is filling up with coats and cold weather wear, but it’s not full yet! We will be collecting items through this Friday, Oct 21st at 2 pm. The giveaway will be at St Andrews Lutheran Church on Saturday Oct 22, 10am-1pm.

Coats and outerwear items are only being collected. We sincerely appreciate your consideration, but we have no use for those items in our coat drive. Thank you!

The Coat Giveaway will be Saturday, October 22nd, from 10:00 to 1:00, at St. Andrews, 8867 Kent Street, Portland. Coats and warm outerwear are available to anyone in need of them.
Again, we cannot stress enough - PLEASE DO NOT DONATE GENERAL CLOTHING OR GARAGE SALE ITEMS
(hats, mittens, gloves, and boots). Snow pants are especially needed.
PLEASE donate only coats and outerwear items. General clothing and garage sale items will NOT be collected.
(2) Our coat drive will run Friday, October 7th through Friday, October 21st. The bus will be located at Bill’s Party Store at 1153 East Grand River and will be the ONLY collection location. Adult and childrens’ clean, useable coats will be collected along with outwear
PCFA and PBB took time out of their Santa work to enjoy walking in the parade on this beautiful night. It was so good to have the parade back to bring neighbors together again to celebrate the Christmas Holiday Season.
Thank you to J & E Martin Produce for the vegetables that will help make our residents’ Christmas meals complete! The Logel family was on hand to help unload the donated veggies.
