The Pierce County Type 3 Incident Management Team (IMT) is a multi-agency, multi-discipline emergency response management team located in Pierce County, WA.
If you’ve ever seen a procession then you know it’s a very powerful experience. We strongly encourage you to attend & show your support - it means so much to the family & to all the first responders who will be participating in the memorial.
The public is invited to line the procession route to the memorial service for PCSD Deputy Cooper Dyson. The procession starts at the JBLM north gate at 11 am on Monday 12/30 & will travel north along South Tacoma Way to the Tacoma Dome.
A memorial service for Deputy Cooper Dyson will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday December 30, 2019. The service will be held at the Tacoma Dome & is open to the public. Additional details on the service & procession route will be released by our department later this week.

More than 650 emergency vehicles lining up for procession with 1500+ participants. This will put Olson Auditorium at capacity. Members of the public who plan to attend the memorial for Deputy McCarntey will be directed to areas on campus where the memorial will be live streamed.
Public parking for memorial service will only be available at Church of All Nations on 112th St. E. in Parkland - there will be no parking available at PLU or on the streets surrounding Olson Auditorium. Shuttles from Church of All Nations to PLU will start at 11:15 a.m.
