These people don't just lose a salary, they lose their positions the moment the minister exits. This is the human cost of cabinet reshuffles that no one talks about.
What do you think should happen to these staff members?

@luyolomkentane Working in a political office comes with the worst kind of anxiety and uncertainty. The salary may be great, but you could literally find out you've lost your job with immediate effect via the news. 🤞🏽

Who's serious?
#KnowYourSIU| 1. The SIU does not target people nor do we investigate people. We investigate procurement processes in State Institutions and all levels of government departments, and it's through these processes that we find people who are responsible. In simple terms, we follow the money and the money leads us to people.
2. The law that governs the SIU states that the SIU does not identify its own investigations. We receive allegations, which we then assess to see if falls within our mandate, and we write a motivation for a proclamation to the President for authorisation.
We rely on whistleblowers or people reporting to our hotline, which is 0800 037 774.
Congratulations on South Africa’s iconic Garden Route being ranked as the world’s best road trip. Stretching along the country’s southern coast, this breathtaking route is renowned for its unique blend of ocean vistas, lush forests and vibrant communities.
South Africans and are unemployed bro. People out there are genuinely struggling. The thing about corruption, it affects thousands of South Africans while you’re living your lavish lifestyle. It’s inhumane guys.
This account @Sunflowerreal has been posting about the people who have been murdered throughout this corruption spree that has plagued South Africa.
Chilling. Behind these stories of people looting and buying mansions & flashy cars, there are bodies. 😭💔
Behind the Baddies Benefits gravy train, is the blood of slain citizens who tried to do the right thing.
Until you go to university/college, you'll never understand why people go to such lengths to celebrate completing their degrees (celebrating for weeks/ months). If you've never had the sleepless nights, academic exclusions, losing funding, failing modules, having to skip meals because you don't have enough to eat, you won't get it. We are not celebrating only obtaining degrees. We are happy for hanging on & making it out alive, it's a dreadful journey.🥺
Realised it has been 20 years since I first moved to Johannesburg. I remember that first day back in 2006 arriving in Auckland Park with nothing but my one small suitcase and many big dreams. The thing I love the most about our city of gold, and why I’m still here, is that whether you’ve lived in Joburg for a day or a decade, Jozi’s incredible diversity of people and culture have a way of making you feel at home. ❤️
A lady said “I once left the man I loved because he couldn't drive to get me a packet of painkillers when I had a severe migraine. I had to drive myself. I saw a future of suffering ahead for me and any children.
You are better off free to find someone who possesses empathy.”
And you will.
