If you’ve been off BCU for more than 5 years, your application for 19 has automatically been rejected on the last recruitment. So, essentially you will need to wait minimum 7 years to go and apply for a role that you might’ve dreamed of doing. Farce of an organisation.
Can anyone help? I’ve been trying to get my PAVA onto my new Molle vest for a while but haven’t been able to think of how to do it? What’s this officer done here to do this?
Watch as police officers confront a man suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack in north London where two men were stabbed.
The suspect refused to show his hands, was violent and continued to pose a clear threat. Using only their training, courage and tasers, they detained him while he continued to try to attack and stab them. This took true courage.
This report is an an absolute disgrace, no doubt the author of the report has never ever been out on the front line because if she had been, she would see for herself that it’s quite often “children” carrying weapons and dealing drugs in London.
@AJewishCopper Very quickly, the SPOC I send them too usually sends a reply back saying thanks and that it’s been sent off, I’ve chased a few up previously too and been told results.
@albertmarira@myles_premium_ Obviously not but my point still stands, it’s not ‘extra police officers’ it’s the same ones that will be responding to 999 calls all week but then have to work their days off to try and earn a reasonable amount of money.
Why isn’t a bigger deal being made of the police chiefs proposing to get rid of recalls and time & half? Literally the enemy within, the people who should be on our side. Those responsible are vile.
Absolutely no surprise to me that a medical professional knows more about policing than those that sit behind desks with coffees judging us. https://t.co/QrgkcMMyss

Someone made a good point to me the other day “In the police, if you’re proactive and want to work you’re more likely to lose your job whereas in any other field of work you’d be promoted.” Start to dislike this job a lot atm.
