I don't know this pastor within my denomination, but I am a conservative talk radio host and I hear him and his message sounds more politically oriented than gospel-oriented. And that's my concern within the PCA etc. We've got a lot of pastors who are so deeply focused on right/left and contemporary American politics that they're seeing everything through a political lens instead of a gospel lens and some do not even realize it. I don't want my denomination to reflect politics and embrace a right/left rubric. Instead, focus on the Word, preach the gospel, and let the Holy Spirit work.
@Rev_Sasquatch@Nicktrahan94 That makes sense. At their church, they put scripture on the screen for folks to read during solos like that, and they don’t have cameras. So that part of the equation was a unique outcome of hiring an AV company that doesn’t think intentionally about these sorts of things.
@james_d_baird I wish I had seen this last night! We’re in Lexington and have a room above our garage that you could’ve used. Hope you made it to Louisville.
@benthompson Have you seen the new Apple Intelligence video on @Apple's homepage?
The first sentence of the video is "How to make dinner with Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT."
(I would link to it directly, but I can't find a standalone version)

@benthompson@andrewsharp@sharptechpod Just wanted to share a quick anecdote: my 18-month old saw the Apple logo on my water bottle and said "Movie!" because we've watched several movies and shows on AppleTV+. So their transition to being a services company must be complete!
