It's easy to say you support Palestine.

From inception there were both anti- and Proslavery liberals. Extremely racist ones and anti-racist ones.

Extremely racist liberals are still around.
The KKK were liberals at conception, and they still are.

You can disagree with that notion, but you cannot declare that not to be liberalism
