@geraintjohn_ It’s nearly two years to the day since I lost Philippa. Life is so different without her. Empty. No matter how hard I try to fill the gaps with the kids I cannot replace her.
@geraintjohn_@geraintjohn_ you and I have such similar lives it does make me laugh. Bereavement, kids, dog. Etc. thanks for your posts it really helps.
@geraintjohn_ Hi @geraintjohn_ I’m one of those annoying people who doesn’t post much. But your posts have resonated with me and helped over the last year. I lost my wife to bowel cancer nine months ago and am a father to five kids. It’s been an education for us all.
@geraintjohn_@alexwinterstv Your posts have definitely helped me deal with my own grief. Even the ‘depressing’ ones help me feel I’m not alone. Keep up the good work @geraintjohn_
@geraintjohn_ I’m still trying to figure out so many new skills: classes, parents’ evenings and most difficult if all sizing up school uniform. Mrs T used to have it all covered.
@nige_h64 So sorry for your loss Nigel. My wife has terminal bowel cancer and is currently in East Ches Hospice. She is only 48. Cancer is indiscriminate.
Congratulations to Faye Scragg and Tom Coulson on recently qualifying as solicitors.
We are sure you will join us in congratulating them both and we wish them all the best with their career progression within our property teams.

@mywifehascance1 I am in the same boat as you - my wife is terminally ill with metastatic bowel cancer - and can really relate to this. I find myself looking at couples and particularly older couples with envy realising we will never grow old together as we expected to.
This year, we have chosen The Christie as our charity of the year.
A team of 14 SAS Daniels daredevils will be doing a sponsored skydive on April 2. If you would like to donate or find out more about the amazing work The Christie do you can do so here: https://t.co/izXhWxMF3B
