@26thAndGuad@____Foxtrot____@HantsPolice That is such a simplistic view.
They’re doing a job, a job which takes everything from you and gives very little back.
They have bills to pay, possibly kids to feed and clothe, and you want them to walk “off the job”.
It just wont happen.
@MikePannett@____Foxtrot____@HantsPolice@PoliceChiefs Senior Leaders just don’t have a clue.
The public needs to channel their anger at successive Govts and senior leaders in the police. Who have allowed this to happen.
Those officers are someone’s mum, dad , son, or daughter.
Be angry, but not at those on duty tonight.
Shit! I just realised that. Imagine being stabbed multiple times. The attacker and three members of his family have you cornered in a garden, your struggling to breathe because your lung is punctured. The police show up and you must feel saved. They fail you and leave you to die.
@Perky_43@Telegraph@HantsPolice Poor Henry must have thought great they’re coming to save me. Only to be put into handcuffs and arrested in his dying moments. How many red flags were there that he was dying before CPR was initiated ?
@colinsutton@EnaKPowell I do agree with you Colin however is the Stephen Lawrence murder no longer discussed at training schools.
We were told to check and check again if someone said they had been punched as they may have been stabbed.
Rear stack cuffing and arresting Henry was so wrong.
Tonight X is full of ex officers who are blinded by their loyalty and passion for the job. I am the biggest police cheerleader but that video is sickening. Henry was dying in front of them and they handcuffed him in a rear stack.
He was hoping to be saved but was arrested.
@PFM192381 Have you seen the footage, I did 24 years and that wasn’t a chaotic scene even for Hampshire. Henry was slumped clearly in a medical emergency and was handcuffed in a rear stack. Really !
@PoliceInspForum That DCC needs to resign. What was so complex about that scene. A young lad slumped in clear medical emergency and the suspect spouting a load of rubbish.
@GBNEWS I’m not saying they were responsible for his death. There is only one lowlife that is. But after being told repeatedly that he had been stabbed handcuffing him would have been the last thing to do. It must have been awful.Hoping those officers would save him only to be arrested
@GBNEWS This makes my blood boil. I served for 24 years in the Job and I always believed that if you weren’t there you couldn’t know what the officers thought process was. But I cannot ever imagine a situation where I or my colleagues would have done what these officers did to Henry.
@MikePannett@BorisJohnson Ah @BorisJohnson didn’t a Conservative prime Minister Cameron and Home Secretary May decimate the best police service in the world.
Crying wolf she said.
@ThoughtMiss@BettyBoochichi2 No, but the two cases share NO similarities. One officer caused the positional asphyxia of George Floyd. The officers in this case handcuffed poor Henry, they didn’t inflict the injuries. I’m angry that he was cuffed BUT I wasn’t there so let the IOPC investigate.
@mulronie@BettyBoochichi2 So your thought process is likely to be an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
Makes sense, name them and they are hounded and attacked.
@mulronie@BettyBoochichi2 You don’t need to name them to hold them to account. So we name them, does that bring Henry back or does it make you feel better. Not sure how it makes you feel any better about the issue but only puts those officers at risk.
